I am so excited to announce that I’ll soon be headed back to India for my next project for Photographers Without Borders. This will be my third project for PWB and also my third time in India.
Please visit my fundraising site on GroupRev set up my PWB to donate directly to my project, and/or visit my Patreon site to sign up for “rewards” such as fine-art photography prints, photo-shoots, and many other things I am offering in exchange for your support. You’ll be helping me, Photographers Without Borders, The NGO in India, and most importantly the local people of rural Kishanganj, India!
This NGO’s mission that I’ll be there to photography is to contribute to the empowerment of communities through enhancing societal participation and creating educational opportunities for rural women and children. The vision involves helping create self-reliant and harmonious communities through a commitment to the goal of enabling individuals to realize their full potential and lead prosperous lives.
From time to time people ask me what exactly does PWB do, as they may have heard of Doctors Without Borders. Here is a little more information about the organization that I am not only a photographer for but where I also serve as an ambassador.
We are the leading community of storytellers building capacity for grassroots initiatives worldwide.
We are achieving our vision by connecting volunteer photographers and videographers to over grassroots initiatives and nonprofits every year as part of our flagship PWB Program. These nonprofits and initiatives must be grassroots; they must be in need, and they must be addressing the interconnected problems we face on this planet as outlined by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through their stories, we urge the world to see through a new lens.
At PWB we believe grassroots efforts are sustainable and impactful efforts. Our hope is that by amplifying grassroots voices and building their capacity for communication, we can help to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals together. Check out our Online Magazine, our Print Magazine, and our PWB TV web series to see what we’re up to!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND INTEREST IN THE IMPORTANT WORK THAT I AM DOING!
