I’m honored to share that my work with Photographers Without Borders is featured in a recent issue of Professional Photographer Magazine. This recognition means so much to me because it highlights the power of storytelling through photography, especially when it comes to important global issues.
Being part of these projects have allowed me to work closely with extraordinary nonprofits like LONG WAY HOME, which focuses on sustainable construction and education in Guatemala, and Azad India Foundation, dedicated to empowering women and children through education in India. Capturing their stories was both humbling and inspiring, reminding me of why I picked up a camera in the first place.
Since joining PPA in 2007, I’ve admired their commitment to elevating the art and business of photography. Each month, I look forward to their magazine arriving in my mailbox—it’s always a source of inspiration. To now see my own work featured feels like a full-circle moment, one I hope will inspire other photographers to use their craft for meaningful causes.
This journey has also motivated me to take the next step in my own mission: launching a nonprofit foundation focused on helping people help others. I believe photography is more than an art form—it’s a tool for connection, awareness, and change.
I’ll be sharing more details about this new chapter soon, including ways for photographers to get involved in impactful projects. For now, I invite you to explore my blog, where I’ve written more about these experiences and the organizations I’ve partnered with.
Let’s keep the conversation going. How can we, as photographers, create a positive ripple effect through our work?
