foundeR; Art, Style, flow.
After spending the past 25 years founding and working with some of the best and busiest wedding photography studios in the U.S. and photographing over 500 weddings around the globe, Ron B. Wilson has reconnected with his true passions: travel, men’s street style, and fine-art photography. So starting “Art, Style, Flow”, a travel inspiration blog and online magazine featuring his photography, was a natural process and has been a work in progress all these years.
New York City and Miami Wedding Photographer Ron B. Wilson specializes in an award winning fashion based documentary style of photography. Ron was recently featured in Professional Photographer Magazine with an article about the {revisited} sessions that he created, and over the past few years he has been honored with many awards at the WPPI and PPA’s Imaging USA Conferences.
Ron’s primary goal is to tell stories with images and to bring out the very best in every detail of each subject he photographs. He is available for fashion, advertising, travel and editorial assignments.
Ron has been recognized by:
- The New York Times
- Professional Photographer Magazine
- Range Finder Magazine
- The Miami Herald

- Grace Ormonde
- Photographers Without Borders
- Exposure Photography Festival
RON was named one of “The World’s Best Wedding Photographers” by JUNEBUG WEDDINGS.
Ron began his career in photography very early in life and was always the kid with the camera. He knew he was going to be a photographer and never thought of doing anything else, and he brings that passion to every assignment.
He studied photography at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. During his education at AIFL he was selected for an internship at The Miami Herald. The internship was an invaluable experience, which helped mold him and his talents into the person he is today. He continued to freelance for The Miami Herald after the end of his internship, where he photographed everything from celebrities, breaking news, and portraits to daily features. He was granted a scholarship from Polaroid and upon graduation, he was awarded The Best Portfolio in his graduating class.
After graduating he headed off to Budapest, Hungary for another internship with Atlantic News Service. His assignments there ranged from local Hungarian news, to traveling with and covering Hilary Rodham-Clinton’s visit to Eastern Europe to photographing the end of the Bosnian war in Sarajevo. This was the hardest, yet most rewarding time in his life.
After he returned to United States, he relocated to New York City where he has worked in many different fields of photography such as fashion, commercial, architecture, and portraiture. He has covered every possible subject from the World Trade Center Tragedy to the blackout of 2003, and has been published in many publications such as The New York Times, Modern Bride, Asian Photography and Imaging Magazine, and RangeFinder Magazine.
Ron recently won an award from NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC for his work from Cali, Colombia.
The experiences of living and working as a professional photographer in New York City and having grown up in a small town in North Florida have given him the advantage to be better and more well rounded in his life and career. Ron feels that the relationship he builds with the clients and the subjects he photographs is what makes his work exceptional.
He brings his warm, engaging personality and high standards to every assignment he does. He uses most of his free time to travel throughout the world from Europe, The Middle East and India to South America shooting stock photography. He uses his cameras to document the lives of people in the places he travels to. Ron also lives in Peru part of the year and is available in the Lima area for assignments.
Ron recently spoke and exhibited his work in The U.A.E. for the second time at The Xposure International Photography Festival. CLICK HERE to watch the presentation.

so… What’s next for ron & art, style, flow?
Adding inspiring content is Ron’s focus, such as having guest posts and doing interviews with other photographers. The three main categories here are; TRAVEL, MEN’S STREET STYLE, and FINE-ART. Ron has been brushing up on his writing skills to accompany his photography by taking writing courses, after attending a TBEX blogging conference. Ron has many interests and ideas for this website such as writing about and photographing the best surfing spots around the world, and the advantages of health and wellness through meditation and massage. He is now contacting photo editors to propose stories of the places he has traveled to previously along with information about his future travel plans.
Ron recently completed his first five projects for Photographers Without Borders in Guatemala, India, Ukraine, Botswana, and Guyana. He continues to shoot men’s fashion images and prepares products to sell with his fine-art photography (such as framed prints and canvases) to interior designer, individuals, and businesses.
He wants to collaborate with other creatives and feature their work here online and in the printed version of the magazine. If you are interested in collaborating with Ron, advertising here, or if you would like more information on how to purchase some of his work, please fill out the contact form on this website and let us know. Thank you for being here and we look forward to working with many of you.
